About me

Beata Sawicka was born in Warsaw, Poland.

She studied at the:

– Ecole Régionale des Beaux Arts in Rouen, France
– Fine Arts School in Gdańsk
– Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw – Master of Fine Arts in book illustration and design, 1985.

From 1983 to 2004 she worked with book publishers, on graphic designs and illustrations. Since 1996 she is living in Strasbourg and is currently engaged in painting. Active member of Arts Club of the Council Of Europe.
